My activities

1964  Bucher Niederweningen, takeover Fiat Tractors as a general importer for Switzerland

           At this time I was a mechanic for our own Bucher tractors

1964  First training in Turin, further training in Turin, Modena, later in Zedelgem and Basildon.

            At this time it was a matter of course that tractors were repaired on customer`s farm.

1974  I started working as a Service Technician.  For the inside and outside Service

           My task:  Processing of the guarantee and goodwill with the suppliers.

            Further training for our dealer and mechanic. Telephone information or on- site assistance.

            Assistance at Fiat/CNH with homologation regulations for the Swiss market.

1988  The new company CNH was founded.

1989  Our After sales Service was converted to electronic data processing

1989  Ernst Bickel formerly Ford tractors,  strengthened our team.

           An excellent connaisseur of Ford tractors, a reliable and good comrade.

1990  Introduction of processor-controlled tractors.

           A very big job on our part, because our dealer/mechanics were  unfamiliar  with working on a        

           Laptop or had no knowledge of use of a Laptop.

           The first 2 years were a big challenge for us Service Technicians.

            However, we have had excellent support  from CNH in Basildon and Modena

             A big thank you to Norberto Crocetti, he was a good man with a fine feeling for problems.

             I would also  like to thank Paolo Zanazzo for inviting me to the CNH Service Meetings.

2001   Josef Spuler completed his professional career.

           However, I still use my experience for the classic tractor freaks (Oldtimer)
